The Institut français d'Ecosse and Great Grog, an independent wine merchant serving Scotland’s Central Belt since 1999, invite you to a wine tasting on the evening of May 24th. What better way to start your weekend? The experts from Great Grog will shed new light on classic wine varieties from Alsace, Burgundy or Côtes du Rhône and introduce you to the surprising character and flavours of wines from Languedoc and the Loire Valley. For total beginners and refined palates alike, the night will be hosted by a French sommelier in his mother tongue. Other members of the team will be at your disposal for explanations in English. The selection will comprise ten wines, some of them less known to the public, giving you the chance to discover them for the first time, and will be accompanied by appetisers.
